Well what a summer it has been! Lots of fun, laughter, travel and birthday celebrations. I went to Ibiza in July with my bestie to enjoy the last of my 20's before I turned the big 30 and boy did she spoil me ... We had the best time and never stopped laughing once. Holidays are always amazing when you go with great company. I took so many amazing photos over the 4 day trip that I have decided to split this post in to 2 parts so here we go with Part 1 enjoy! Day 1: To start the holiday off we stayed in a hotel near Manchester airport the night before to make to early morning journey easier. We stayed at the Best Western Altrincham Cresta Court Hotel www.bestwestern.co.uk/hotels/best-western-cresta-court-hotel-83373?utm_source=google_places&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=Best_Western_Cresta_Court_Hotel The hotel is clean and perfect for those early morning wake up calls for the airport. We were able to leave our cars there and get a shuttle to the airport. We flew with Jet2 from Manchester and landed in ibiza for around 10am (please note Jet2 don't serve alcohol on board anymore til after 8am). We decided to stay some where cheap and cheerful in Ibiza so that we had more money for spending while we were there (i.e having hair and makeup done every night eekk) The hostel we stayed in is called Hostel Florencio based in San Antonio which we booked through Booking.com. The hostel was perfect for how many nights we were there. It was clean with a pool, free wifi, air con and had a cafe downstairs serving food throughout the day. Also in a great location you are in walking distance to the sunset near Cafe Mambo, the bus station and West End. For our first day in Ibiza we wanted to make the most of the occasion my friend had bought us tickets for Ocean Beach for my birthday so we had our hair and make up done by the amazing ladies in Ibiza. Ocean Beach is a must see and do when in ibiza. The atmosphere is amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and we danced from day-night. We went at around 5pm the weather was so hot it was better going later but there is a great atmosphere all day/night. Be prepared to pay high prices for drinks but if you have pre drinks before you go it may help with not spending so much when your there. Me and my friend shared a bottle of Cava for 40 euros (it served us well). Day 2: On our 2nd day in Ibiza we wanted to make the most of our time while we were there we found an amazing food called 'Skinny Kitchen' which was near our hotel and did amazing food. As you can probably tell from the title it had food which was based on a healthier option. We wanted to try and keep a healthy diet while we were there so that we would feel nice in our outfits and bikini. Not to say that we didn't eat badly after a night out eek! There is actually two Skinny Kitchen's in San Antonio the one we went to closet to our hotel you can find: Carrer del General Prim, 8, 07820 Sant Antoni de Portmany, Illes Balears, Spain. Or if you walk further down near the bay you will find out over looking the bay also. After having our healthy smoothies and breakfast we decided to get a bus to the Ibiza Town Eivissa. Catching a bus from San Antonio was pretty easy. A lot of people speak English and there is always some one to ask for help. The bus from San Antonio to Eivissa was about 30-45mins. The town is so picturesque a great place for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. We climbed up the Castle steps to see the views of the town and the Mediterranean sea and it was well worth the trip (even in the Spanish heat). While we were in the town we had a nice stop off for some Cava to quench our thirst from the heat and we also found a really nice Gelato shop which was located within an old rustic architecture. I thought it was so different and really quaint. To see how we ended our 2nd day in Ibiza hold on for Part 2 of my 'Ibiza Summer Adventure' blog post coming soon .......xx
